Cannot Upgrade - File Greyed Out (Mac)

If the AccountEdge company file you are trying to upgrade is grayed out in the list of files, try this:

  • Exit the Upgrade Assistant and attempt to open the file you want to upgrade in your new AccountEdge version
  • The "View All Files" check box is available on this dialog box. Check this box and select your older company file
  • You will be notified that this file needs to be upgraded and asked if you want to upgrade it now
  • Select Yes and the upgrade will proceed
