New Sales Tax Reports

Beginning with AccountEdge 2017 (Update 20.0.4) we updated and introduced changes to the Sales Tax Summary and Sales Tax Detail reports. These changes will effect both the accrual and cash reports and were made so that the report is more legible - separating it into separate sections for Sales and Purchases and including Totals under each section.

Below you'll see that there are now totals for:

  • Net Sales: The total of your sales minus tax
  • Tax Collected: The total dollar value of tax collected
  • Gross Sales: The total dollar value of sales plus tax
