Currency Symbol Not Displaying Correctly

(Palatino Font Problem)

Printing reports in older versions of AccountEdge and FirstEdge, using some currency symbols such as Euros, may result in an incorrect rendering of the currency symbol.

Check for Product Updates or Upgrade to a later version. If this isn't possible, you can:

Download the new Palatino font family file to your Desktop (

Double-click the .zip file to extract the font family file

Launch Font Book (in the Applications folder)

Click on All Fonts in the Collection column

Click on Palatino in the Fonts column

Select File > Remove Palatino Family

Move the new Palatino font file from the Desktop to the /Library/Fonts folder

In Font Book, select File-->Add Fonts

Select the Palatino Font Family file

Quit all applications and Restart your Mac
