Office 2016 for Mac and OfficeLink Compatibility

AccountEdge 2015 is compatible with Office 2011 for Mac. Letters and reports can be sent from AccountEdge to Microsoft Word and Excel.

NOTE: With the Mac OS X 10.11 update to El Capitan, Microsoft Excel must be launched before reports can be sent there successfully (you will receive an error if attempting to send directly to Excel without Excel being open). More information is available here.

Office 2011 for Mac and OfficeLink Compatibility

AccountEdge 2010-2015 are compatible with Office 2011 for Mac. Letters and reports can be sent from AccountEdge to Microsoft Word and Excel.

Note Regarding Microsoft Word and the Word Document Gallery:
When launching Word, the Word Document Gallery is opened by default. This may interrupt the OfficeLink process when sending a letter to Word. In this case you can check the Don't show this when opening Word option on the bottom of the Word Document Gallery which will solve this issue.

Outlook 2011 for Mac

Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac now comes with Outlook, which replaces Entourage, as an email client on the Mac. AccountEdge 2011-2015 are compatible with Outlook 2011 for Mac.

AccountEdge 2010 Mac and earlier are not compatible with Outlook 2011.

Microsoft Office 2016 for Windows and OfficeLink Compatibility

AccountEdge 2015 and 2016 are compatible with the 32-Bit version of Microsoft Office 2016 for Windows. Letters and reports can be sent from AccountEdge to Microsoft Word and Excel.

Previous version of AccountEdge have not been tested for compatibility.

Microsoft Office 2013 for Windows and OfficeLink Compatibility

AccountEdge 2013-2015 are compatibile with the 32-Bit Version of Microsoft Office 2013 for Windows. Latters and reports can be sent from AccountEdge to Microsoft Word and Excel.

Previous versions of AccountEdge have not been tested for compatibility with Microsoft Office 2013.

Microsoft Office 2010 for Windows and OfficeLink Compatibility

AccountEdge 2010-2015 are compatible with the 32-Bit Version of Microsoft Office 2010 for Windows. Letters and reports can be sent from AccountEdge to Microsoft Word and Excel.

Previous versions of Premier Accounting have not been tested for compatibility with Microsoft Office 2010.
