Uninstalling Fileconnect

In order to remove FileConnect, you must delete the following:

Please make sure that you turn off FileConnect from your System Preferences FIRST. You can locate that under the OTHER row in your Systems Preferences.

AccountEdge NE 2010:

1. In the folder : /Library/PreferencePanes, Delete: “AccountEdge.prefpane”
   
2. In the folder: /Library/Preferences, Delete the file: “com.acclivity.fileconnect.plist”
   
3. In the folder: /Library/Application Support/Acclivity, Delete "FileConnect" and "FileConnectHelper"

Pre-2010 versions:

1. In the folder: /Library/Preference Panes, Delete the file: “AccountEdge.prefpane”
   
2. In the folder: /Library/Preferences/ Delete the file: “com.myob.fileconnect.plist”
   
3. In the folder: /Library/StartupItems/ Delete the whole folder: “MYOB FileConnect”
   
4. In the Finder, click the Go menu and choose Go to Folder. In the text field, type in /etc/ and click Go. **Delete the whole “AENE” folder.
