Canada AccountEdge 2011 Windows Card Sync
Canada AccountEdge 2011 Windows (only) Card Sync will not work
To make Card Sync work, some customers will need an additional file from Microsoft. We provide the necessary file in a compressed installer, located in the OutlookSync folder, which is within the C:\AccountEdge2011 folder. Customers will need to use the 2003, 2007 or 2010 installer, depending on the version of Office/Outlook installed on the machine
If Card Sync does not work:
- Quit AccountEdge 2011 and Outlook
- Open C:\AccountEdge2011\OutlookSync\InstallerFolder where InstallerFolder is either 2003, 2007 or 2010, depending on what version of Office/Outlook is installed on the machine.
- Double-click on the file in this folder
- Review the license agreement, and check mark box (if necessary) if the terms are acceptable; click continue
- In the browse window, navigate to the C:\AccountEdge2011\OutlookSync folder
- Click OK twice
- The files will be extracted in the C:\AccountEdge2011\OutlookSync folder
- Click OK
- Open the C:\AccountEdge2011\OutlookSync folder if it isn't open already
- Double-click on the .msi installer
- Launch AccountEdge. Card Sync should work
