Activating/Confirming Company Files
Prior to the 2010 version of AccountEdge (US) and 2009 version of AccountEdge (Canadian), you will need to activate and confirm your company file(s), and activate your workstation licenses after you've purchased them, allowing you to use AccountEdge in multi-user mode. These processes are no longer required when you upgrade to newer versions of AccountEdge.
To Activate Your Licenses:
Sign into your Company File as Administrator. Select Setup >
Company Information and click on the License button at the lower
left side of the window. Click 'Enable Online' and the AccountEdge
will access the Internet and activate your licenses.
To Activate or Confirm your company file(s):
If you are unable to confirm your company file online, you may call
the Confirmation Line to confirm your file by phone. Call
1-800-784-7383 and follow the telephone prompts to activate or
confirm your company file.
