Two TT requests

I would prefer, when entering items from pop-up menus (i.e. customer, activity, job number) that the correct choice could be selected by starting to type the name or code and then using a down arrow and hitting return, rather than having to pick the item from the list with the mouse. This works with activity, unit and job, only if the item was recently used, but not when entering customer.

We would like the option of hiding the rate from our employees. Though we'd like the applicable rate to be synced into AccountEdge, we don't want the employees to know what we charge for each activity, nor do we want them to change any rates.

You've already fixed two of my other issues, so I won't even bring them up! Thanks for a great program.

    Hi Stephanie,

    Just to echo Scott's posting - I've added your feature requests to our wish list data base for future releases. Your second request, about hiding the rate, was on our list, along with hiding the Total (rate x number of units/hours) field too on an Activity Slip - does that work for you?

    Todd, Yes, that works for me. Good luck figuring out how to do it. I think
    computer programmers are genius! If the rate showed up every time an
    employee entered an activity, we wouldn't be able to use Time Tracker, since
    we've got different rates for different activities and employees and don't
    want them to know what they are.

    I love Time Tracker - have been entering our employees' time into activity
    slips manually, for YEARS. What a time saver.

    I second everything that Ms. Fama wrote and would also suggest;

    A tutorial video for employees and vendors, my guys had a hard time with it at first; partly with getting oriented with the interface and partly because it wasn't working on their older versions of Explorer. (All fine now)

    Some sort of history on the employee side would be handy. They often forget what they've sent.

    I'd like to be able to vet a sync import before I record it and it would be nice to have a quick report of sync history on the company side.

    Thanks for a welcome new feature. I like the new Acclivity developments!

    We loved the idea so much we've added to Time Tracker. If you log into the ever improving Admin, click on My Account in the upper right, then Settings>Edit Users, you'll be able to select whether to "Display Rate/Amount" by user.

    @civiccarpentry - a user can select the Show/Hide Synced button and it will allow folks to see or hide whats been synced. Love the sync history reports idea, we'll have to discuss that further. Also, some video's are available here; http://accountedge.com/timetrackerhelp/.

    Great ideas, keep them coming.

    A couple more little things:
    Perhaps an "Activity Slips View" Tab in user home screen, wasn't there a "+ activity slip" button there before?
    A "delete activity slip" button.
    Activity slip and timesheet forms without the "payroll category" fields for users who are vendors and not employees.

    "+ activity slip", "refresh customers", and "log out" buttons all missing from the user screen?

    It's a bug that should be fixed in the next day or two. If you expand your browser, they'll reappear. It's a scaling issue if you size your browser below a certain size. Like I said, hopefully fixed by tomorrow...
