Is there a way for a user to enter a flat fee for work they did? If not, how soon could this be implemented into the new version?

Thanks,
Cheri

    Hi Cheri,

You could enter a flat fee like this:
    - Setup an non-hourly, chargeable, activity in AE on your desktop called whatever you want (flat fee, installation, training, etc) and leave the activity rate at zero dollars.
    - In Time Tracker, create a new Activity Slip, select the Customer, select the Activity you created above, enter 1 Unit and enter the flat amount as the Rate, so the Total equals flat amount.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Todd,

I see, so as long as the activity has a flat rate instead of hourly it will transfer over into Time Tracker.

    Thanks,
    Cheri

    Hi Cheri,

Not sure if it matters which way you set up the Activity in AE desktop; whether its an Hourly Activity and you leave the Activity rate at $0 and enter the flat rate when you do the Activity Slip, or set up the Activity as Non Hourly, leave the rate as $0 and assign the flat amount on the Activity Slip. I think your results will be the same.
