Need to download AccountingEdge 2007

I lost my disk and need to download a copy of the program how can I get that?

    Unfortunately the version you are asking for is no longer supported and I don't have a download link to this version anymore. You do have the ability of upgrading to the latest version by giving a call into Customer Service at: 800-322-6962

    No, unfortunately, the version I have is the version I must use without upgrading several computers in my business. Unfortunately all of these computers are working fine and in no need of replacement except for your inability to provide customers with the support they paid for. (You may send it to me a copy attached by e-mail.) I have no interest in making a change and creating an unnecessary expense to adapt to MYOB not being able to afford space on its website to download 2007. This is 2012 and your product is not such that five years would be another world in ebusiness except for exploiting customers who have trusted you by integrating it into their business. I doubt this will be read by anyone other than the person who removes it from the forum.....sad!

    I don't have any intentions of removing this post.

    It has been the same as past year versions that we do not contain a copy of older version other than the current year and two year prior. These would be the same versions that we can support.

    Maybe a user could DropBox or WeTransfer it to you if Acclivity does not have any objections.
    2007 is pre-Acclivity taking over the US MYOB anyway, right?
    I have the 2007 single user Mac (110MB) & PC (70MB) installers.

    Mac version right? The MYOB application folder can just be copied from computer to computer. For the other items installed you could use Carbon Copy Cloner and clone one of the computers that still has it installed. Or use Pacifist or other program to look at the Library/Receipts folder for the MYOB AE pkg files to figure out what else was installed and where so you can copy those files too. A program like DesInstaller.app can reverse create install packages from application on your Mac but it does not always work.

    Hi Jamie,

    Is that a way of saying go ahead without officially making a company statement condoning it?
    I would have honored a "Do not do this, it violates licenses", but also must assume David has a paid license(s) for the program or else his company files would lock out after time.

    Thank you for the offer......I finally found original install disk and all is working on new hard drive. This go around again has shown me just what kind of a company we have here. No doubt at every corner trading on the trust of the customer....i.e. baking in tax tables so we can not just purchase an update but have to get a whole new program which makes looking back cumbersome. Forms that should and functions expected with purchase are up charges. The program is not that good either. I have been using the 2007 for 5 years and will continue to work around it for as long as possible just because of these things. I do not like there business model and way of doing business. MYOB

    The initial post was asking for a download link for 2007. Unfortunately we don't keep older versions of the software available for download except for the current version and the two prior. This would be AccountEdge 2012, 2011, and 2010. The older products I can not be of any assistance in providing a way to install.

    I personally have no problem if Dan provides a download for the 2007 software. Dan is correct that if your license doesn't entitle you to the 2007 software, when you go to confirm the company file you will not be able to. I think there may have been some confusion on why I can not provide a download link and its because I do not have one.

    Is that file something that the prior owner did not include in the sale of the company?

    I don't think you saw I already wrote we only support the current version and two years prior. This has always been our policy so this has nothing to do with the buy out.
