Can I move the program to a new computer if we buy one
Just wanted to know if I was able to put the program on our macbook, and when we decide to get a new one, am I able to transfer the program and info to the new computer. Dont want to run the program on two different computers just want to move it to the new macbook when it gets here.

You won't be able to directly "transfer" the program from one machine to another. With AccountEdge you will need to reinstall it on your new Macbook. Be sure to de-register the program on your old Macbook before you register it on the new one.
To do this, go to AccountEdge (at the top of the menu)-> Registration.

what about all the info and passwords you have already? will it all transfer over?

You can either backup the data from the old computer & restore it on the new computer or you can just copy your data file. Your data would remain intact & passwords within the program as well will remain unchanged.

What is the procedure to re-install on new computer, if we are unable to de-register the program from the old machine first, (e.g. total hard drive failure/computer crash/laptop stolen, etc.)?

Hi Steven,
If you run into a situation where any of your computers crash and you were unable to de-activate, you can call Customer Service. You want to call them while you are at your computers that still have AccountEdge working so they can help figure out which machine or which license needs to be reset. Customer Service is available Monday-Friday, 9am-8pm EST at 800-322-6962.
