invalid owner error
We are evaluating AccoundEdge software (canadian Version) and attemoted to convert our business file. We are unable to verify the files and get an error under Miscellaneous text 21 out of 49... invalid owner record. Have tried the Optomization tool without success.

I'm going to make the assumption that you're trying to upgrade the file using our Canadian AccountEdge version found on - ca.accountedge.com If not, that's the only version that will upgrade your current file.
If you have Optimized and Verified the file, (this works kind of like defragging your hard drive) and still get that message, you may have a corruption in your company file. If you contact Customer Service at (800) 322-6962, they let you know how to send the file in to our Company File Services team to run it through diagnostics. It's difficult to tell how severe this problem is without running diagnostics. You would not be able to upgrade the Canadian version file with that message.
