I thought I read it was going to be possible to email quotes directly from AEM? When will this be possible. Make no sense to make a quote if I cannot get into my customers hands. Or did I miss something?

It would be a definite plus to email invoices(PDF attachment) directly to the customer from AEM on the iPad. Will this be possible?

Yes. That's the plan. And sooner, rather than later (although not in the next few weeks). We recognize that functionality as pretty vital and we would have liked to have launched with it included.

Glad you have that in your plans. It will be a big help to us to have email capability.

Really glad it is in the plans to have it in the feature set, especially sooner than later. What else can we expect to see?

There are a number of little fixes and enhancements you'll see in
upcoming weeks/months, but emailing is the one sizable enhancement
we're committed to in the short term. We are also eager to figure out
the best way to allow you to process credit cards from AEM, but we
haven't yet sized the effort. That would most likely be the next one
in the queue. What would be on your list?

I'm all set up with 2011 and drop box - just waiting for FedEx to deliver the iPad today!

Emailing pdf invoices and orders is quite vital and glad you recognize that. There's not point in traveling without it. Hope the function gets done real soon. Nice job on 2011 - customer support by email was wonderful and I'm up and running today.

You should be able email your quotes out to your clients. To email a quote out of AccountEdge Mobile, you will need to save the quote first. Once done, there should be an icon next to the Trash Icon in the Top Right Hand corner, that is if you were using an iPad.

On the iPhone/iPod however, there is an email button at the bottom of your quote once you have saved your transaction.

On the Desktop, you will need to go to Setup (at the top of the menu)-> Customized Forms-> Invoices. You will need to select the proper Sale Layout for the quotes you are creating. For example, if you are selling items and utilize the Item Sale, then you will want to customize the Item Sale Layout.

Fore more information regarding our Customized Forms Section, please see link below:

Are you getting this message in AccountEdge Mobile when you create an invoice?
